The Ford Edge is a range of crossover SUVs manufactured by the Ford Motor Company.Introduced for the 2007 model year, the Edge is the first midsize CUV marketed by Ford in North America; the model line is currently in its second generation. Deriving its name from a trim package of the Ranger, the Edge is slotted between the Escape and the Explorer within the product line.
